Director biography
- Coralie Van Rietschoten, Galaad Hemsi
Galaad has a son with severe autism. As a rule, as a child grows up, progresses and learns, he becomes more independent, in contact with others. But for children like his son, as they grow up, there's less place for them in ordinary life. While looking for ways to allow him to continue evolving within society, he heard about an ambitious project, a Café in the heart of Paris, where youngsters with autism can learn. He decided to make a movie about it, and was joined by Coralie, who has always been interested in defending the rights of persons with disabilities. Together, they filmed the apprentices for years, witnessing the progresses of the youngsters.
