• Witness: Rabbi Jon Cutler Recalls

Rabbi Jon Cutler served the United States Navy for 32 years as a chaplain. He served in this capacity in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Philippines, and other places in his long career. When the American Airlines plane went into the Pentagon on 9/11/2001, he was immediately deployed to the Pentagon to not only give solace to the families who lost loved ones in the attack, but he also was mandated to remove the remaining body parts left in the plane. He recalls his experiences in the various war zones, and his feelings about the conspiracy theories surrounding the attack on the Pentagon.

Award-winning producer Rosemarie Reed travels the world to film her highly acclaimed documentaries. If she’s not in New York or Berlin, her two home bases, she’s pursuing subjects in Paris, London, Moscow, or Sydney. Some of her films document the lives of scientists such as Irène Joliot-Curie and Frederic Joliot Curie and Lise Meitner and Otto Hahn.  Others include historical figures and world leaders, such as Mikhail Gorbachev, who have made significant contributions to society and humankind; she has also told the stories of victims of genocide and human rights abuses. Her work bears on the endless search for a better world.
