Little Venice Film Festival

The Little Venice Film Festival invites applications from volunteers who wish to support the delivery of this year’s festival.

Volunteers play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the festival and in creating a welcoming, professional experience for audiences, filmmakers, and guests.

Why Volunteer?

Volunteering with the Little Venice Film Festival offers the opportunity to:

• Gain practical experience in film festival and event operations

• Support independent filmmakers and cultural initiatives

• Engage with industry professionals, creatives, and audiences

• Develop transferable skills in hospitality, coordination, and customer service

• Attend selected festival screenings and events, subject to availability

No previous festival experience is required. Full guidance and briefing will be provided.

Volunteer Roles

A variety of volunteer roles are available before and during the festival, including:

• Front of House Support
  Assisting with guest reception, ticket checks, and audience enquiries.

• Screening Assistance
  Supporting venue operations, audience seating, and transitions between screenings.

• Guest and Filmmaker Support
  Assisting with the coordination and care of filmmakers, speakers, and invited guests.

• General Festival Operations
  Providing on-the-ground support to ensure the festival runs efficiently across venues.

Volunteers will be assigned roles based on availability, skills, and festival requirements.

Volunteer Requirements

Applicants should:

• Be reliable, professional, and comfortable working with the public

• Be available for at least one scheduled volunteer shift

• Be aged 18 or over (unless otherwise agreed)

Students, early-career professionals, and film lovers are encouraged to apply.
