Lorraine risks stealing a precious early morning run. The only time she feels safe and free.
Originally a monologue for theatre, this play was written in lockdown, in response to a call out from ‘INK Festival’. Geraldine Alexander was inspired to write after hearing a news item about women trapped in a bad relationship. There was no escape in lockdown. For Lorraine, running is her only salvation, but it’s dangerous and risks retribution.
