Director biography
- Huong Duc Ta
Huong Ta is a London-based documentary filmmaker. His debut feature, Good Mourning Vietnam, follows two women in northern Vietnam who use ancient singing and crying rituals to help their communities process grief, exploring resilience and cultural preservation. His professional craft was honed in the cutting rooms of acclaimed films, including the BAFTA-winning Exposure: The Women Opposing Putin and Channel 4's Rebekah Vardy: Jehovah's Witnesses & Me.
