Director biography

- Erfan Behzadnia

Erfan Behzadnia is a first-generation Iranian-Australian filmmaker drawn to stories about people who live between worlds, always searching for a home. His work blends genres to explore identity, ambition, and moral contradiction.

Melted is a 20-minute drama-thriller about Iranian immigrants navigating assimilation, belonging, and sacrifice. It explores the psychological and moral tension of assimilation and how it can shape or distort who we become.
