Simmons, won the Audience Award at the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival and was distributed by Gravitas Ventures. He most recently directed Rising Phoenix: A New Revolution, the feature-length documentary follow-up to the Emmy-winning Rising Phoenix, which stars Lauren Ridloff (ETERNALS) and Jim LeBrecht (CRIP CAMP) and was produced by P&G Studios, HTYT and Ventureland. He’s a fellow of the Inevitable Foundation’s Accelerate program, where he’s being mentored by Alex Garland, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Ahn. He's also a Ryan Murphy HALF INITIATIVE Directing Mentee and a Film Independent Episodic Directing Intensive Fellow. As a creator, Sheridan’s work explores identity and family through character-driven stories that veer between catharsis, darkness and levity. Sheridan has been a speaker at the Cannes Lions, the Hollywood Radio & TV Society, and for clients like Samsung, among others, and has been supported by Film Independent. Sheridan is represented by CAA, Odenkirk-Provissiero and EP Talent.
