Sheridan O’Donnell is a disabled (legally blind), Korean-American writer-director based in Los Angeles. His feature debut, LITTLE BROTHER, starring J.K. Simmons, won the Audience Award at the 2023 Atlanta Film Festival and was distributed by Gravitas Ventures.  He most recently directed Rising Phoenix: A New Revolution, the feature-length documentary follow-up to the Emmy-winning Rising Phoenix, which stars Lauren Ridloff (ETERNALS) and Jim LeBrecht (CRIP CAMP) and was produced by P&G Studios, HTYT and Ventureland.  He’s a fellow of the Inevitable Foundation’s Accelerate program, where he’s being mentored by Alex Garland, Destin Daniel Cretton, and Andrew Ahn.  He's also a Ryan Murphy HALF INITIATIVE Directing Mentee and a Film Independent Episodic Directing Intensive Fellow.  As a creator, Sheridan’s work explores identity and family through character-driven stories that veer between catharsis, darkness and levity. Sheridan has been a speaker at the Cannes Lions, the Hollywood Radio & TV Society, and for clients like Samsung, among others, and has been supported by Film Independent. Sheridan is represented by CAA, Odenkirk-Provissiero and EP Talent.
