- Garath Whyte
Garath Whyte is an award-winning Director and Cinematographer with 15 years’ experience across documentary, film, and commercial projects. His work has received international recognition, including a Jackson Wild Media Award, Giant Screen Cinematography Award, and has been showcased on major streaming platforms as well as at leading festivals.
With a strong foundation in cinematography, Garath has always worked at the forefront of visual innovation—embracing 3D, 8K, 360° formats, and now incorporating AI-driven postproduction techniques to expand the possibilities of storytelling. His work is rooted in emotional authenticity, shaped by his own upbringing in a lower-income single-parent family, and a desire to uncover the deeper truths behind human connection.
His recent film, 'Tank', won Best Music Video at Aesthetica Film Festival, as well as being selected for Raindance. The film was also won Best Mental Health Film at Greenwich Film Festival.
