Director biography

Before becoming a writer, Tiggy was a commercial producer for thirty years. She was Head of TV at advertising agency HOLMES KNIGHT RITCHIE, London, founded the commercial production company WOWHAUS, and also produced at the award-winning British production company BLINK.

She is the published author of two non-fiction books: UNPLANNED JOURNEY is an unflinching account of breast cancer, and her latest book, BOTH SIDES NOW, is about her life with the late legendary radio DJ Johnnie Walker, published by Harper Collins in September 2025.

For over five years, she has been the lead columnist for DORSET MAGAZINE.  Her radio presenting work includes BBC Radio 2, SOUNDS OF THE SEVENTIES,  Boom Radio (specials), BBC Radio Solent and Abbey104 FM. 

She has written a feature screenplay, ANTONIA, which is in development with producer Jayne-Ann Tenggren. THE KITCHEN GARDEN, also written by Tiggy,  marks her directorial debut and has won Best New Director at The New York Film & Cinematography Awards, The Chicago Indie Film Awards, and Tokyo Indie Shorts Festival.
